A partnership agreement was announced on March 11 between the Rotterdam Biomass Commodities Network (RBCN) and the Wood Pellet Association of Canada (WPAC).
A memorandum of understanding was signed by Gordon Murray, executive director of WPAC and Peter-Paul Schouwenberg of RBCN.
The MOU introduces a cooperation of the two organizations on knowledge sharing, networking and organizing biomass events. According to the document the organizations will “work together by sharing relevant and up-to-date information about the biomass sector in or outside their focus region to enhance global transparency in the biomass markets.
